Blue Devils Rally to 5–1 Victory, Set for Spring Break Road Trip

Decatur, Ill. - In a competitive afternoon at Workman Baseball in Decatur, Ill., the UW‑Stout Blue Devils overcame Millikin by a score of 5–1. The Blue Devils built momentum early, exploding for four runs in the second inning. Justin Sedin led the charge with timely hits, setting the stage for a rally that saw Leyten Bowers and Jack Redwine also make significant contributions on offense. Nolan Harke's presence at the plate was crucial—earning him an RBI on a sacrifice fly that helped extend the lead.

On the mound, Treysen Witt delivered a strong performance by going five solid innings, keeping the opposition at bay. His effort was complemented by Nick Van Beek, who closed out the contest with four scoreless innings, earning the save and preserving UW‑Stout's advantage throughout the game.

The win not only highlighted the team's ability to capitalize on early scoring opportunities but also showcased the depth of UW‑Stout's talent, with contributions coming from key players in both the batting order and on the mound.
