STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Despite a stellar night from Raegan Sorensen, the UW-Stout women's basketball team could not overcome a hot-shooting UW-Stevens Point squad, falling 85-71 at Berg Gym on Wednesday night.
Sorensen put on an offensive showcase, dropping 33 points on 13-of-21 shooting, while also collecting four rebounds and six steals. Anna Mutch contributed 20 points, dished out eight assists, and grabbed four rebounds. However, the Pointers' balanced attack, led by Alexa Thomson's 26 points and 11 rebounds, proved too much for the Blue Devils to overcome.
