MENOMONIE - With a mix of seasoned veterans and fresh faces, the UW-Stout Blue Devils are poised for an exciting 2025 campaign under first-year head coach Lakyn Wagoner. After finishing 22-20 overall (6-8 WIAC) in 2024, Stout looks to climb the WIAC standings and make a deeper postseason run.
Position Breakdown
Infield
The infield will be anchored by
Alexa Anderson (.307 AVG, 12 RBI in 2024) and
Donna D'Addabbo (.314 AVG, 21 RBI), both expected to provide consistency on both sides of the ball.
Stephanie Kuhn (.311 AVG, 3 HR, 27 RBI) will also be a key contributor at first base and in the lineup. Junior captain,

Grace Vowell (.293 AVG, 9 RBI) and
Abbey Dusterhoft return to handle the Blue Devil pitching staff.
Pitching Staff
The pitching staff returns key arms in
Anna Blanford (7-7, 4.17 ERA, 80 K) and
Samantha Bergeron (2-0, 6.16 ERA, 19 K) and
Maddie Lambert, while freshman
Kennedy Hodgman and
Nicole Stone add new options to the rotation.

- Payton Dolecki (OF) – Led the team in hits (49) and stolen bases (22).
- Stephanie Kuhn (OF/1B) – Tied for team lead in HR (3) and posted a .311 AVG.
- Donna D'Addabbo (1B) – Strong bat with a .314 AVG and 21 RBI.
- Anna Blanford (RHP) – Top returning pitcher, threw 90.2 innings with 80 strikeouts.
Schedule Breakdown & Home Highlights
The Blue Devils kick off their season with multiple early-season tournaments, including games in Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky and Florida. WIAC play begins in mid-April.
Stout begins the 2025 campaign this weekend with a pair of games at the MSU Dome in Mankato, Minn. Stout will then face (RV) St. Benedict for a double-header in St. Cloud, Minn. and two more games in Rochester, Minn. at the RCTC Dome before a four-game weekend in Illinois and St. Louis, Mo. The Blue Devils will play four games in Elizabethtown, Ky. March 15 -16 on their way to Florida for six games during spring break.

With strong returners, a solid incoming class and a fresh coaching perspective under Coach Wagoner, the Blue Devils aim to take a step forward in 2025. If the pitching staff can elevate its performance and the offense builds on last year's successes, Stout has the potential to make noise in the WIAC.
