WHITEWATER, Wis. (October 25, 2025) — UW-Stout rolled to a straight-sets victory over Augustana (Ill.) Saturday morning at the Kris Russell Volleyball Arena, sweeping the Vikings 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.. The Blue Devils (17-7) hit a blistering .423 as a team while limiting Augustana (11-14) to .167 on the attack.
Brooke McCune powered the offense with a match-high 14 kills on .414 hitting while adding nine digs.
Kyra Giffen tallied 10 kills, and middle blocker

Hope Bushendorf were nearly unstoppable, combining for 12 kills without an error — both finishing at .545 efficiency.
Sloan Horgan was also strong at the net with eight kills at a .467 clip.

Lainey Todd and
Nadia Marchionda efficiently quarterbacked the attack with 25 and 16 assists, respectively, as Stout spread out 46 helpers on 47 total kills. Libero
Kailey Kline anchored the defense with 16 digs while
Maja Anderson added nine digs and two aces from the service line. The Blue Devils compiled seven aces overall.
Stout took control early, hitting .471 in the opening frame and stringing together long scoring runs to claim the set 25-16. In the second, Stout again opened strong and held off a late Viking push to win 25-21. The Blue Devils closed the sweep in the third with three more service aces
The Blue Devils will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 29 when they travel to River Falls, Wis. to face the Falcons at 7 p.m. from Don Page Arena
