Women's Hoops Drop WIAC Opener to #8 UW-Oshkosh

In a rematch of last year's WIAC Tournament Championship game, the Blue Devils opened 2024-2025 WIAC play with a loss to #8 ranked Oshkosh. The Titans entered the game a perfect 11-0 and were able to extend their winning streak to twelve on Saturday afternoon against the Blue Devils.
 
Stout would begin the game with the upper hand, jumping out to a quick 12-7 lead, Oshkosh responded with an 18-0 run over the next nine minutes to take a 25-12 lead. The Blue Devils would chip away at that lead the remainder of the quarter, cutting the lead down to three, trailing 29-26 at the end of the first half.
 
Oshkosh began the second half with a 9-0 run, extending the lead to twelve midway through the third quarter and would maintain the lead for the rest of the game, resulting in a 67-57 win for UW-Oshkosh.

• Anna Mutch led all Blue Devils in scoring with 24 points. Mutch also added 8 rebounds.
• Raegan Sorensen recorded 6 boards and added 5 points.
• Rosella Wille and Amanda Giesen each scored 7 points.
