th goal of the season, but it was not enough to stop a red-hot Pointer team, as the Blue Devils fell 5-1. With their 7
th win in a row, UWSP improves to 13-4-1, (5-2-1), while UW-Stout falls to 9-7-2, (2-5-1).

The Pointers got on the board first, scoring off a Blue Devil turnover at the 7:09 mark in the first period. Stevens Point added another tally at the 13:10 mark of the second period, this time on the power play, giving the Pointers a 2-0 lead. The Blue Devils bounced back with a power play goal of their own just three minutes later, scored by
Hayden Stocks with assists credited to
Noe Perez and
Boyd Stahlbaum. Staying hot, Stout was able to draw a penalty with thirty seconds left in the second, riding some momentum headed into the 3
rd period. Â
The Blue Devils were unable to capitalize on the power play. Instead, it was the Pointers scoring a shorthanded goal, one of two in the game, and one of three special team's goals for UW-Stevens Point. The Pointers were able to score twice more in the third, one being on an empty net, resulting in a 5-1 loss for the Blue Devils.
