OSHKOSH – The Blue Devils dropped both games of the doubleheader to No. 19 UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon. Falling 3-2, and 7-1.
GAME ONE
A three-run sixth inning lifted Oshkosh to a 3-2 win in game one. Stout took the lead in the fifth when
Ashley Jacobson hit a two-out hoer to left field. Stout doubled the lead in the sixth.
Grace Vowell hit a single to left to drive in
Stephanie Kuhn. Oshkosh loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth and tied the game on an error. The Titans then took the lead on a RBI ground out to second. Stout got runners in scoring position in the top of the seventh but were unable to push the tying run across. Kuhn had two of the Blue Devils six hits.
Mackensie Wolterstorff pitched six innings, allowing three runs (zero earned) on seven hits while striking out four.
GAME TWO
Oshkosh completed the sweep with a 7-1 win in game two. UWO took the lead in the third on a home run.
Katelyn Belleau reached on a infield single and then stole second. She stole third and scored to tie the game on a throwing error by the catcher. Oshkosh took the lead in the fourth on a two-out two-run homer to left. They added one more to take a 4-1 lead. Oshkosh got more three hits to score two more runs in the fifth to extend the lead to 6-1 and added an insurance run in the sixth.

The Blue Devils will return home to host UW-La Crosse in their home finale on Wednesday, May 1. First pitch from Alumni Field is set for 4 p.m.
