MENOMONIE - The UW-Stout Women's Lacrosse team dropped a home game to UW-River Falls 20-5 Saturday morning.
Both teams were scoreless for the first four minutes, River Falls struck first at the 10:53 mark to opening the scoring. UWRF scored four times in a 1:43 span to quickly take a 4-0 lead. The Falcons led 6-0 before
Mai Nou Vang beat the buzzer with her 16th goal of the season with three seconds left in the quarter. After the Falcons took a 7-1 lead to start the second quarter,
Ally Crymble netted her 16th of the season just ten seconds later. UWRF then scored eight straight to close the half and led 15-2 at halftime. Crymble scored her second of the game four and half minutes into the third for her 17th of the season. The Falcons scored the next four to take a 19-3 lead. Vang tallied her 17th of the season to match Crymble in season totals. Emma Matthews scored her 27th of the year with 3:48 left in the game off of a free position shot.
