CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The UW-Stout women's lacrosse team notched the programs first win with a 18-2 triumph over Mount Mercy Saturday afternoon
Mai Nou Vang tallied five goals and
Ally Crymble had a hat trick to lead Stout to the big win.
Vang scored 22 seconds into the game and the Blue Devils never looked back.
Loryn Tornell scored two goals in 39 seconds to put Stout up 3-0 just 2:28 into the contest. Vang scored her second of the quarter with 6:56 left and 26 seconds late Crymble found the back of the net. with 2:25 left in the first
Lilly Thomas scored her first collegiate goal to lead 6-0 after the first quarter.
Vang scored two more in the second quarter.
Megan Palmer scored her first collegiate goal with the man advantage and then 16 seconds later she tallied her second of the game.
Emma Mathews joined the scoring party with a goal with 96 left until halftime to give Stout a 11-0 lead.
The Blue Devils added three more goals in the third and led 14-1 heading into the final 15 minutes.
Matthew tallied her second goal to open the fourth and
Luci Fitzgerald scored her first career-goal.
Ellie Gandy scored her first of the season with just over five minutes to play and Crymble got her hat trick goal with 4:19 left to play.
Palmer, Thomas, Tornell, and Mathews all scored two goals and
Katt Squire made six saves to pick up her first career- win. Palmer and Crymble each had seven draw controls.
Stout totlaed 35 shots with 29 on goal.

The Blue Devils will travel to Minneapolis, Minn. to face Augsburg University on Wednesday March 6. The game is set to start at 4:30 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
