Anna Mutch all were in double-figures as the Blue Devils handled the Royals in a key non-conference matchup. UW-Stout played a clean first twenty minutes, maintaining the lead the entire first half. The Blue Devils took a 33-26 lead into the halftime locker room thanks to some efficient free throw shooting, going 14/15 in the first two quarters.

The Royals came out much sharper in the second half, eventually going on a 9-2 run to take a 41-39 lead over the Blue Devils.
Anna Mutch would end the third quarter with an and-one to reclaim the lead- 44-43 at the end of the third quarter. The Blue Devils were able to fend off the Royals in a competitive fourth quarter, ultimately resulting in a 62-55 victory for UW-Stout.
