Kullan Daikawa Named WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Hockey Player of the Week

MADISON - UW-Stout's Kullan Daikawa was named WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Hockey Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 9-15.

Daikawa, a junior forward from Lino Lakes, Minn., tallied three goals and an assist in a pair of overtime games against No. 14-ranked UW-River Falls during the week. On Dec. 13, he scored on the powerplay and then tallied the game winner in overtime in a 4-3 victory. Daikawa also assisted on UW-Stout's second goal of the game. On Dec. 14, he scored the tying goal in the third period to send the game to overtime.
