Mutch Records Double-Double, Blue Devils Cruise against Augsburg

The Blue Devils trip to the Twin Cities ended with a 37-point triumph over the Auggies. Augsburg hung with Stout through the first quarter, only trailing by six. The Blue Devils claimed another 6-point period difference to extend the lead to twelve at the break. Again, Stout added another 6 points to the margin to lead by eighteen after three quarters. The Blue Devils exploded for 27 points to just 8 for the Auggies, to end the game with a 37-point victory. Stout took care of the basketball, surrendering just six turnovers in the contest. The Stout defense forced a staggering 24 turnovers, leading to 31 points off those turnovers, which was the key stat in this contest. Anna Mutch led the way for Stout, securing a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, to add to an impressive start to the 2024-2025 campaign.
