Celebrations went on throughout the night, as the Blue Devils defeated the Polars  86-35 on a special Saturday night at Johnson Fieldhouse. Festivities began before the game started, as the 2023-2024 Blue Devil basketball players were awarded their rings after a groundbreaking season that featured a Conference Championship and Sweet 16 appearance. The good times rolled into the first quarter, as Stout scored 26 (!) unanswered points after a 5-2 start, to make it a 31-2 lead halfway through the second quarter. The Blue Devils kept the foot on the gas and sped into halftime with a 45-10 lead. The Polars responded well out of the break, making for a competitive third quarter, that saw both teams score 15 points. Stout finished strong, outscoring Crown 26-10 in the fourth quarter to put an exclamation point on a great night for UW-Stout Women's Basketball. Eleven different Blue Devils scored, and five ladies reached double figures, including the freshmen tandem of
Madison Malecha and
Julia Rybacki.
Top Performers
- Julia Rybacki led the Blue Devils in scoring with 13 points in just 12 minutes on court. The first two points came off a fast break in the second quarter, which were her first collegiate points.
- Madison Malecha also scored her first collegiate points and finished the game with 10.
- Lexi Wagner added 12 points. She has reached double figures in each game this season.

- Stout turned defense into offense, scoring 45 points off of Crown turnovers.
