Blue Devils Drop a Pair of Matches in Eau Claire

The Blue Devils fell in straight sets to UW-Eau Claire to fall to 2-3 in WIAC play. Stout hit .071 as a team, while the Blugolds hit .319 in the sweep.

Location: McPhee Physical Education Center – Eau Claire, Wis.

The Blue Devils fell in four set to St. Olaf. In the first set, Stout was tied at 12 before St. Olaf pulled away, closing on a 13-7 run to take the first. The Second set was close, Stout held leads of 14-11 and 17-14, only to see St. Olaf storm back and take a 24-21 lead and take a 2-0 advantage. Stout built a 17-12 lead in the third, and maintained the lead throughout to win 25-19 and force a fourth set. St. Olaf again pulled away midway through the set, building a 17-12 lead and took the set 25-18.

• Brooke McCune hit .295 with 18 kills and added seven digs
• Terrah Moshier had 21 digs. 
• Kennedy Barrett had 31 assists, seven digs.
• Kyra Giffen had 10 kills.
• Sloan Horgan had 11 kills.

• Stout hit .156 as a team and totaled 53 digs, while St. Olaf hit .241 had 59 digs.
