The Blue Devils swept Augustana College to open the UW-Stevens Point Papa John's Invite Friday night.  Stout went on an 8-3 run to build a 20-13 lead, three service aces, helped the Vikings rally to tie the match at 20 and then take a 22-21 lead. Gabby Ehlers had back-to-back kills to give Stout the lead back and Brooke McCune closed the set the two kills to give Stout the 1-0 lead. Stout quickly took a 5-0 lead in the second set and built that lead to 14-4 behind three more aces from Kennedy Barrett. Stout never looked back and rolled to a 25-9 win to take a commanding two set lead. Stout built a 16-9 lead in the third and looked primed to roll to another big win. But Augustana rallied to tie the match at 20. Stout capitalized on Viking errors to take the match in three at 25-21.

• Brooke McCune hit .324 with a game-high 13 kills.
• Emma Barton had six kills and four blocks.
• Kennedy Barrett  had 22 assists, six digs, five kills and three blocks.
• Terrah Moshier had 15 digs and eight assists.

• Stout hit .252 as a team and totaled 51 digs, while Augustana hit .108 and had 50 digs.
