BLAINE, Minn. - UW-Stout (5-8-1) dropped a road non-conference game 3-2 to (RV) Bethel University (10-2-2) Friday night.
An early third period goal gave Bethel a 3-2 advantage. The Blue Devils pressured late, totaling 18 shots on net, including hitting the post with 87 seconds left, but were unable to find the equalizer.
After a scoreless first period, Bethel struck first at 1:56 of the second. Bethel doubled the lead at 6:46 to lead 2-0. Just before the midway point of the second,

McCabe Dvorak who buried the puck for his second goal of the year. Stout drew even with four minutes left in the period when Serre and
Brandon Connett came in on a 2 on 1 break Connett went top-self for his first of the season to tie the game heading into the third.
Bethel scored the eventual game winner 24 seconds into the third and Stout was unable to solve Beth goaltender Austin Ryman who made 34 saves on 36 shots.
Tyler Masternak made 26 saves for the Blue Devils.
