BLAINE, Minn. -  UW-Stout (5-8-1) dropped a road non-conference game 3-2 to (RV) Bethel University (10-2-2) Friday night.

After a scoreless first period, Bethel struck first at 1:56 of the second. Bethel doubled the lead at 6:46 to lead 2-0. Just before the midway point of the second, Caleb Serre sprung Noe Perez who dished to McCabe Dvorak who buried the puck for his second goal of the year. Stout drew even with four minutes left in the period when Serre and Brandon Connett came in on a 2 on 1 break Connett went top-self for his first of the season to tie the game heading into the third.

Bethel scored the eventual game winner 24 seconds into the third and Stout was unable to solve Beth goaltender Austin Ryman who made 34 saves on 36 shots. Tyler Masternak made 26 saves for the Blue Devils.
