Lexi Wagner scored 24 points and four Blue Devils scored in double-figures as Stout snapped a losing streak with a 75-65 win at River Falls Wednesday night. After trailing 5-0 early, Stout went on a 14-2 run to go on to lead 19-11 after the first quarter.
Amanda Giesen scored eight of her 13 points in the opening quarter. River started the second on 13-2 run to take a 24-21 lead,
Sydney Brennan then connected on a triple tie the game at 24. The teams traded baskets to close the half and UWRF held a slight 36-35 advantage.
Maraya Wiltrout made a layup with six minutes left in the third to put Stout back in the lead and Stout quickly pushed the lead to nine. UWRF rallied in the fourth and cut the Stout lead to two with three minutes left to play, but were unable to score down the stretch as Stout hit free-throws to ice the game.Â

- Lexi Wagner scored a career-high 24 points on 7-9 shooting, and was 5-7 from 3-point range.Â
- Raegan Sorensen recorded a 13-point, 10 rebound double-double and had three steals.Â
- Amanda Giesen scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds.Â
- Anna Mutch scored 15 points, dished out seven assists, and pulled down six rebounds.Â
