The Blue Devils led by as much as 11 early on and led by seven at the half. But La Crosse opened the second half on a 9-2 run to tie the game at 37 just two minutes into the third quarter. The Eagles would build the lead to six a couple of minutes later and held a 52-49 advantage heading into the fourth.

Raegan Sorensen scored two of her game-high 18 points to give Stout a 54-52 lead a minute into the final quarter. Tied at 54, neither team would score for nearly four minutes before
Amanda Giesen broke the drought with a layup to put Stout up 56-54. The Eagles would regain the lead on the next possession and quickly pushed the led to five with 2:23 left to play.
Lexi Wagner Kept Stout close with back to back treys to keep Stout within one with a minute to play But the Blue Devils couldn't push past the Eagles and La Crosse would go on to win 67-62.
