Stout fell at La Crosse 77-69 Wednesday night. The Eagles started on a 8-2 run before
Caden Hoffman hit his first of five triples to cut the deficit to three. But a 14-2 Eagle run gave La Crosse a 22-7 advantage with 7:49 left in the first. La Crosse led by as much 16 late in the half.
Brody Fox closed the half with four straight points to trim the UWL lead to 30-20. Stout kept the game close in the second half, getting to within six points several times late but were unable to get any closer.Â
