STEVENS POINT - The Blue Devils allowed two second half goals to drop the WIAC opener 0-2 to UW-Stevens Point Saturday evening.
The Blue Devils dropped the conference opener on the road 0-2 to fall to 3-4-2, 0-1-0 on the season. The teams were scoreless in the first half
UWSP broke the scoreless tie with a penalty shot goal in the 65 minute. They added another in the 80th to take the 2-0 lead.
Stout got their first shot on goal in the 81st minute and had a couple of chances in teh 89th minutes, but the shot attempts were blocked and saved.
Stout finished with 11 shot attempts, five corner kicks and two shots on goal.
Kristen Silenzi made five saves on seven shots.
