MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Blue Devils scored in the 74th minute to defeat host Concordia-Moorhead 1-0 Sunday afternoon.
Kayla Shoultz buried a rebound with just over 16 minutes left in the game to lift the Blue Devils to victory and improve to 2-1.
The game was scoreless through 73 minutes before
Kate Holst gained control of the ball near midfield, she threaded a nice ball between two Cobbers to find
Ava Tomas just out side the box. Tomas dished the to Chole Buttala coming down the right side. Her low hard shot was two much for the goaltender to handle and
Kayla Shoultz pounced on the loose ball to give Stout the advantage.Â
Concordia-Moorhead pushed in the final 16 to try and find the equalizer, but couldn't put anything on target.Â

Kristen Silenzi faced 12 shot attemots and saved all six that were on target to earn the shutout.Â
