MANKATO, MINN. - The Blue Devils dropped both games to Bethany Lutheran at the MSU- Dome Friday night. Stout fell 10-2 in the first game and 1-0 in the second game.
GAME 1
Stout opened the game with a two-run double from
Kayli Pfeffer, But Bethany Lutheran answered with two runs in the bottom of the first. BLC scored in every inning as they scored 10 runs on 16 hits.
Payton Dolecki and
Katelyn Belleau each went 2-3.
GAME 2
Stout fell 1-0 in game two.
Mackensie Wolterstorff stuck out five and scattered six hits in seven innings. A solo home run in top of the sixth was all the offense that BLC would need as the Blue Devils couldn't get a baserunner past second.
Kayli Pfeffer and Wolterstorff had Stout's base hits.
UP NEXT
The Blue Devils will head to Bloomington, Ill. to play four games on April 1 and 2 at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational. Stout will face DePauw in a double header on April 1 and Illinois Wesleyan and Wartburg on April 2.
