WINTER HAVEN, FLA. - The Blue Devils split two games on the fourth day of the PFX Athletics College Spring Games in Florida Thursday. Defeating St. Norbert College 9-8 on a walk-off single and falling 8-3 to Kalamazoo College.
GAME 1
Alyssa Albrecht hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Blue Devils to a 9-8 win over St. Norbert. Stout had built a 6-0 lead through four innings but a 7-run fifth inning gave SNC lead. Stout scored two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game at 8 before Albrecht hit the walk-off winner.
Albrecht opened the game with a double,
Alexa Anderson reached on a error, and
Payton Dolecki singled to drive in Albrecht.
Lexy Kupczak lined out to right, driving in Anderson and
Maggie O'Brien doubled to score Dolecki to give Stout a quick 3-0 lead. Anderson and Dolecki picked up RBI's in the bottom of the second to extend Stout's lead to 5-0 and Kupczak homered in the fourth to give Stout a 6-0 advantage. St. Norbert scored seven in the top of the fifth with four hits, an error and two hit-by-pitch to erase the 6-0 hole and added one more in the sixth to lead 8-6. Anderson led off the bottom of the sixth with a double and Kupczak tripled to cut the lead to one. O'brien tied up the game with an RBI ground out.
Kayli Pfeffer singled in the bottom of the seventh.
Katelyn Belleau reached on a fielders choice and stole second before Albrecht walk-off single drove in the winning run. Albrecht finished 3-5 and Kupczak went 2-4 with three RBI.
GAME 2
A six-run sixth inning lifted Kalamazoo to the 8-3 win. Stout got runs in the first and second innings and added one more in the fifth to lead 3-0. Kalamazoo got a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth to trim the Blue Devil advantage to one at 3-2. Kalamazoo then got four hits, a walk and HBP to score six runs and storm past the Blue Devils and pick up the win. Albrecht went 2-4 with two runs scored.

Stout will close out the Spring Games with two games on Friday, March 17. Playing Salve Regina at 9 a.m. and No. 7 Case Western Reserve University at 11:30 a.m.
