ST. PAUL, MINN. - The UW-Stout Blue Devil Lacrosse team fell 21-0 to NCAA Division II opponent Concordia St. Paul Tuesday evening.
Playing against an established Division II program, Stout held their own defensively as CSP played a majority of the game in the Blue Devils Defense side of the field.
Tessa Bailey and
Madi Klaja split time in net, combining for seven saves. The Blue Devils forced 18 CSP turnovers and had 16 ground balls.
Ally Crymble had three ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
Allison Zwettler and
Abby Todey each had two ground balls and Klaja added six.
Lauren Sheets led CSP with five goals, and Taylor Preece added four goals and three assists for the Golden Bears.
The Blue Devils will be back in action on Wednesday, March 22 when they travel to Beloit, Wis. to face Beloit College. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
