George Scharlau led the Blue Devils to a big 81-67 win over Babson to open the BSN Winter Classic. Friday evening. Stout was down early in the first, but a 10-3 run over a four minute span gave Stout the lead for good. Stout would led at the break 37-32. The Blue Devils would open up the game early in the second half. Stout would go on a 16-point scoring run from 18:18-13:56.
Jacob Walczak scored nine of his 11 points during that stretch, and the Blue Devils never looked back, going on to lead by as much as 26 at the 12:26 mark of the half and holding on for the comfortable win after the long break between games. Â

- Brody Fox recorded his third career double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds. He was 7-18 from the field and 11-15 from the line and added four dimes.Â
- George Scharlau recorded his third career-double-double with13 points, 12 boards. He was 4-8 from 3-point range and added two steals and two blocks.Â
- Jacob Walczak scored 11 points and pulled down five rebounds.
- Nate Amado led the Beavers with 19 points.
