Blue Devils Men's Basketball Battles Milwaukee in Exhibition Game

Location: Klotsche Center - Milwaukee, Wis.

The Blue Devils battled Milwaukee to a 91-73 loss Monday night. Stout took a quick 5-0 lead and played MKE tough for 30 minutes before the Panther pulled away late. Stout kept the game close trailing  18-22 with 9:39 to play in the first half forcing the Panthers to call a timeout. MKE tried to pull away, building an 11 point lead but Stout kept pace, keeping the game within a couple of possessions and trailed by five at the half 40-35. MKE extended their lead to 10 but back-to-back buckets by Brody Fox had Stout within five with 12:31 to play. Unfortunately for Stout that was as close as they would come, as MKE maintained a double-digit lead down the stretch.

  • Brody Fox led all scorers with 20 points on 8-18 shooting. 
  • George Scharlau was 3-5 from beyond the arc and finished with 13 points.
