The Blue Devils withstood a late run by North Central to pick up a 78-75 win Wednesday night. Stout jumped out to an early 9-3 lead thanks to seven points from
Brody Fox in the first two minutes of game. North Central weathered the early storm and took a 23-16 lead midway through the first. Stout would battle back and trail by one at the half. Stout opened second half on a 4-0 run to take a 39-36 lead, only to see NCU respond with an 8-0 run to take a 44-39 lead with 17 minutes to play. Over the next four minutes the Blue Devils went on a 18-3 run to take a 57-47 lead with just under 13 minutes left in regulation. Stout maintained the lead and led by 12 with 4:51 to go. NCU rallied and cut the lead to one with 30 seconds left. Stout connected on one of two free throws and NCU missed a potential game tying driving layup with four seconds to play. Stout again went one of two from the line and the Rams desperation half court attempt was off the mark.

- Brody Fox led all scorers with 22 points. He was 7-18 from the field and 8-14 from the charity stripe. He pulled down nine rebounds and had two steals.Â
- George Scharlau recorded a 14 point-11 rebound double-double
- Jacob Walczak scored 12 points, four rebounds.Â
- Aidan Shore scored eight points and seven rebounds.Â
- Collin Vick had six assists, five rebounds, three points and three steals.Â
- Cameron Thomas led the Rams with 20 points and five rebounds.Â
