Amanda Giesen scored 17 seconds into the game and the Blue Devils would lead throughout in a 18 point win over host Superior. Giesen led the way with a season high 19 points and three others would score in double figures in the road win.
Sydney Brennan started with the hot hand scoring 11 points points in the first quarter, helping the Blue Devils to an early 21-9 lead. Stout would maintain a comfortable lead in teh second, leading by as much as 21 and taking a 18 point lead into halftime. Stout built the lead in the third up to 22 but UWS was able to avoid the blowout but hanging on and only trail by 15 at the end of 30 minutes of play. Stout would hold on down the stretch and not allow the Yellowackets to get any closer.Â
