Blue Devils Roll to Big 106-74 Win Over Maranatha Baptist

The Blue Devils opened the home portion of their schedule with a big 106-74 win over Maranatha Baptist. Brody Fox scored 27 as three Blue Devils scored in double figures. 
The Sabercats jumped out to an early six point lead at 16-10, back-to-back three's had the Blue Devils tied up at 16. Stout took the lead or good when Fox scored off an inbound pass and Jackson Noll hit back-to-back triples and Stout took a six point lead with 11 minutes left in the first half. MBU hung around and trailed by 8 at the half. Fox scored six straight early in the second to lift Stout to a 15 point lead and the Blue Devils would go on to coast down the stretch. 


Top Performers

• Brody Fox led all scorers with 27 points on 13-20 shooting. He added four rebounds and three assists.  
• George Scharlau totaled eight points, seven rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists. 
• Jackson Noll had 13 points and two steals.
• Lewis Cargeor scored 10 points and four rebounds. 
• WIll Schultz led MBU with 25 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.

Inside the Box Score  

• Both teams shot over 50 percent. MBU was an even 50 and Stout was 55.7 percent
• Stout was 12-29 from 3-point range.
• Stout dominated the paint, out scoring MBU 62-24.
• Both teams had 35 rebounds.
