LAKE FOREST, ILL. - The Blue Devils scored six unanswered goals in a 6-2 win over Lake Forest to sweep the weekend series.
UW-Stout (3-1-1) got goals from six different players and five players recorded multi point games in the win over Lake Forrest College (2-4-0).
Trailing 2-0 late in teh first period,
Matt Dahlseide scored his second goal of the year with 13 seconds left in the first period. The goals gave the Blue Devils all the momentum they needed.
Boyd Stahlbaum scored the first of two power play goals of the second period for Stout at the eight minute mark, his fourth tally of the season.
Nicolas Pigeon scored his fourth of the season five and half minutes later with Stahlbaum and
Noe Perez assisting to give Stout the 3-2 lead. Less than two minutes later Stout doubled the lead with
Maksis Brimanis scoring his fourth of the season.
Stauhlbaum picked up his second assists and third point of the night on the goal.
With 90 seconds left in the second period
Jake McAlpine scored his first collegiate goal to put Stout up front 5-2.
Jacob Halvorson scored his first of the year just past the midway point of the third.
Dawson Green made a season-high 32 saves in the win.
Kullan Daikawa and
Brendan Boyce tallied two assists apiece.

The Blue Devils will return home to host UW-Stevens Point in their home opener on Friday, Nov. 17. The puck is set to drop from Fanetti Community Center at 7 p.m.
