The Blue Devils picked up their first win of the season Saturday afternoon at the Sikma Hall of Fame Invitational.
Brody Fox scored 24 points and the Blue Devils shot over 55 percent from the floor to win 92-68. Aiden Shore scored nine seconds into the game and the Blue Devils and
George Scharlau hit back-to-back 3-point field goals and Stout lead 8-0, just 1:20 into the first. Ohio Wesleyan responded and build five point leads of 24-19 and 31-26. With just over five minutes left in the half, Stout got an and-one layup from
Caden Hoffman to cut the lead to 33-32. Colin Vick then made a layup to give Stout the lead back with 3:50 to play. After trading baskets, Vick made another layup with 20 seconds left to give Stou a 40-38 halftime lead. Fox open the second half with five straight points and 10 of Stouts first 12 points and the Blue Devils quickly led by 12. Stout didn't let up and led by 24 with 10 minutes left in the game. They would go on to cruise down the stretch to go on to the big win.Â

- Brody Fox led all scorers with 24 points on 9-14 shooting. He added three rebounds and two assists. Â
- Aidan Shore scored 14 points, six rebounds, and an assist.
- George Scharlau was 4-5 from behind the arc for 14 points, eight rebounds and two assists.Â
- Collin Vick had eight points and eight rebounds.Â
- Henry Hinkle led the Battling Bishops with 16 points, six assists and five rebounds.Â
