MENOMONIE - The Blue Devils fell in straight sets to the second ranked Titans of UW-Oshkosh Friday night.

The Blue Devils battled the number two team in the nation the first set, after falling behind 7-3 Stout rallied to tie the set at nine. UWO then scored the next four points to take a 13-9 lead and led 18-13. Stout again rallied to trail by one at 20-21. Stout seemingly got within one at 22-23 but a controversial call on a serve made the score 24-21 and Oshkosh was able to take the first set 25-22. The teams battled early in the second set, but Oshkosh was able to go on a run and build a 10 point lead that they would hang onto throughout the set. Stout led early in the third set, and then traded points through the midway point and was tied at 12. UWO then overpowered Stout and closed on a 13-2 run to take the set and the match.
