The Warhawks quickly took an 8-3 lead in the first set and never looked back. The Warhawks maintained a comfortable advantage to take the first. Stout got within three points twice but UWW was able to respond. The second set started similar in favor for the Warhawks, jumping out to a 9-3 lead. This time Stout was unable to mount any rally as UWW to the set 25-16. The third set saw 17 ties and five lead changes in a very competitive set. Stout led 22-21 but UWW scored four of the final points to take the set and the match.
