MENOMONIE - The Blue Devils swept the UW-La Crosse Eagles on senior night in straight sets to close the home portion of their schedule on a win.

The first set was back and forth with 10 ties and seven lead changes. Stout was able to take a 18-15 lead, but the Eagles rallied to take a 20-19 advantage. Stout then scored the next three points. UWL made things interesting at 24-23 but
Kennedy Barrett ended the threat with a kill and the Blue Devils took the set 25-23. La Crosse open the second with a 3-0 run. Stout returned the favor and tied the set at four. The teams traded points before four straight gave the Blue Devils a 19-15 lead. UWL got within two at 20-18, but the Blue Devils scored the next five to take a two sets to none advantage. The third set started the same wat going back and forth. UWl took a 11-9 lead only to See Stout score the next four to lead 13-11. the Blue Devils never looked back, quickly taking a 20-15 lead. Kills by Hoverman and Kneubuehl halted the Eagles and Stout went on to the 25-21 win and pick up their first conference win of the season.
