Halvorson Scores Twice In Blue Devils 4-1 Win Over Concordia Moorhead

Jacob Halvorson scored twice and Matt Dahlseide tallied three assists as the Blue Devils won their third straight and swept a road non-conference weekend by defeated Concordia Moorhead 4-1 Saturday afternoon. Halvorson opened the scoring with his 11th goal of the year midway through the first on assists from Maksis Brimanis and Dahlseide. Concordia tied things up early in the second on a goal from Jacen Bracko. Halvorson scored his 12th of the year and second of the game with just four seconds left in the second again from Dahlseide and Brimanis to give the Blue Devils the momentum heading into the final 20 minutes. Kobe Keller netted his sixth goal of the season on the Blue Devils only power play opportunity of the game to give Stout a two goal cushion with nine minutes left to play. Dahlseide picked up his third assist of the day and Gunner Moore picked up an assist for a three point weekend. Peter Verstegen sealed the game with a empty net goal with two minutes to play. Dawson Green made 35 saves on 36 shots to pick up his fifth win of the year. IGreen made 65 saves on 67 shots over the weekend.
