Dawson Green stopped all 20 shots he faced to earn is first collegiate shut-out as the Blue Devils defeated Northland College 4-0 to win their fourth straight game. Stout peppered the Lumberjack goalie early and often, scoring just five and a half minutes into the game when
Trenten Heyde buried a loose puck just outside the crease for his third goal of the year. Five minutes later,
Brandon Connett doubled the lead when he sniped a shot from the circle for his first of the year. Stout outshot Northland 16-6 after the first period. Neither team could find the back of the net in the second period, but Stout kept the pressure up putting 15 more shots on net. To out shoot the Lumberjacks 31-10 after two periods.
Kullan Daikawa added an insurance goal tallying his fourth of the year at the 6:39 mark of the third.
Maksis Brimanis put the game out of reach with five and a half minutes to play with his sixth of the year.
