The Blue Devils specials teams carried Stout to a road win over St, John's. Stout scored two power play goals and once short handed to win 3-1 on the the big ice sheet in St. Cloud.
Jacob Halvorson opened the scoring 4:20 into the first period, redirecting a
Matt Dahlseide pass to take a 1-0 lead. St. John's tied things up just over a minute into the second. Four minutes later when Gunnar Moore skated in and buried a shot from the slot to give the Blue Devils the lead again. Stout took a two-goal advantage when
Caleb Serre sprung
Dylan Rallis on a short handed breakaway, Rallis sniped a shot under the bar for his seventh goal of the year. Freshman goaltender
Dawson Green stopped 31 of 32 shots to pick up his fourth win of the year.Â
