The Blue Devils picked up their first WIAC win of the season and the first conference win of head coach 
Ben Staupe tenure with Stout in four sets on the road Wednesday night.  The first set went back and forth before Stout closed on a 7-3 run to pull out the win. The second set started out in similar fashion again Stout used a big 10-2 run to jump out to a big lead and run away with the 25-14 win and take a 2-0 lead. The Eagles avoided the sweep by turning the tables on the Blue Devils in the third set using their own 6-1 run late to stay alive. The fourth set again saw the teams battling, trading points until Stout had another big 7-1 run to take a 23-18 lead that they wouldn't relinquish.

	- Sidney Hoverman had 12 kills and six digs to lead the Blue Devils
 
	- Anna Hansen hat nine kills and a hitting percentage of .368
 
	- Kennedy Barrett had 30 assists and 15 digs.
 
	- Brianne Kordicki had 16 kills and 13 digs for La Crosse.
 
 
Inside the Box Score
	- Stout hit .142 and totaled 58 digs, While La Crosse hit .110 and had 71 digs.
 
	- Jessica Barr had a .471 hitting percentage, recording eight kills on 17 swings.
 
	- The Blue Devils won for the first time in La Crosse since 2013.

Up Next
The Blue Devils will head to Waverly, Iowa to play in the Wartburg Volleyball Invitational. They will meet host Wartburg College, Friday, Sept. 23 at 5 pm., followed by Coe College at 7 p.m., and will close out the tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 against Concordia College (Minn.)
