Stout tennis faces Division II St. Cloud State

SARTELL, Minn. (February 27, 2022) - UW-Stout lost a 7-0 decision to NCAA Division II St. Cloud State University Sunday at Sta Fit Gym in Sartell, Minn.

At No. 1 singles, Lauren Couves defeated her opponent 7-5 in the first set, but lost the final two sets, 6-0, 10-6. 

The match was played under Division II rules where doubles is awarded one point for the team that takes at least two of three of the doubles matches.

Stout returns to action Sunday, March 6 when they travel to St. Norbert College for a 3:30 p.m. start
