Second Half Comeback Falls Short in 67-59 loss to Ripon

The Blue Devils second-half rally fell short as Ripon snapped their 10-game win streak. Ripon used a strong second quarter to lead by 15 at halftime. Ripon increased the lead to 18 with 6:32 left in the third quarter. Stout began to rally, going on a 24-5 run over the next nine minutes and 14 seconds to take a 50-49 lead. The lead was short lived as 23 seconds later Ripon retook the lead for good. The Blue Devils were within two points with three minutes left to play but couldn't quite get over the hill as the Red Hawks held on for the win.  

Top Performers

• Anna Mutch scored a career-high 20 points. She was 8-12 from the floor and a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe. She added four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
• Raegan Sorensen scored 15 points and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
• Lauren Arenz grabbed six rebounds, four steals and two blocks.
• Alison Leslie scored a game-high 21 points for the Red Hawks.

Inside the Box Score  

• Ripon Out rebounded the Blue Devils 37-26.
• The game was very physical with a combined 52 fouls, eight players had four or more fouls.
• Ripon had 25 turnovers and Stout had 22.
• Stout was 3-17 from 3-point range.
