Stout survived a late Norse comeback to improve to 2-1 on the young season. The Blue Devils led by 14 at half and 10 heading into the fourth quarter. After trimming the lead to eight with just over five minutes remaining, Luther closed on a 11-6 run to cut the Stout advantaged to just three. After four missed free-throws in the final 10 seconds gave the Norse a chance to tie, Luther last second shot clanked off the rim and Blue Devils walked out of Decorah with a win.  


Top Performers 

• Raegan Sorensen scored 18 points on 5 of 14 shooting. She was 7-9 from the free-throw line and added six rebounds.
• Sydney Brennan scored 18 points on 6-13 shooting, all from 3-point range.
• Amanda Giesen scored 10 points, six rebounds, and three steals.
• Lizzie Kauls scored 12 points and nine rebounds for the Norse.
