Blue Devils Fall 3-2 at Stevens Point

Stout couldn't find the game-tying goal in third as they fell to Stevens Point 3-2 to open WIAC play.
The Blue Devils struck first just four minutes into the game on a goal from Kobe Keller. Point tied the game up with 4:11 left in the first. The Pointers took their first lead at 7:42 of the second. Despite firing just four shots on goal in the period, Stout was able to tie the game at two with three and ahlf minutes left in the second on a snipe from Kullan Diakawa. Stevens Point retook the lead eight minutes into the third. Stout had 11 shots on net in the third but couldn't put any past the Pointers goaltender who finished with 28 saves. Freshman Dawson Green stopped 33 of 36 shots for the Blue Devils.
