MENOMONIE (October 8, 2022) – Caylee Boone scored in the first half as UW-Stout (1-9-3) and UW-Oshkosh (3-5-4, 1-2) battled to a 1-1 draw Saturday afternoon at Nelson Field.
Boone found the back of the net in the 19th minute when she took a nice feed from
Liv Winkler from just outside the 18-yard box and made a good move to the left of the net and snuck a shot low past the diving goaltender.
The Blue Devils had good offensive pressure in the first half with five total shots and four on target.
Oshkosh only had three attempted shots in the first half and picked up the pressure in the second half. The Titans had eight shot attempts and tied up the match in the 63rd minutes when Maris Huen took a nice cross in the box and drove the ball past Stout's
Lily Shield. Shield finished with five saves to earn the tie.
