Blue Devils Drop a Pair of Five-Set Matches at WIAC/CCIW Crossover

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - The Blue Devils dropped five set matches to Wheaton (Ill.) and Illinois Wesleyan at the WIAC/CCIW crossover tournament

The Basics Game 1
Score: UW-Stout 2 – Wheaton (25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 21-25, 14-16)
Record: Blue Devils (11-14, 1-5), Thunder (10-13, 2-5)
Location: Berg Gym – Stevens Point, Wis.  


Top Performers Game 1

• Sydney Hoverman hit .196 with 18 kills, 15 digs and two blocks.
• Jessica Barr and Caroline Braun each had 15 kills apiece. 
• Kennedy Barrett had 52 assists and 12 digs.
• Terrah Moshier had 30 digs.

 
Inside the Box Score Game 1

• Stout hit .211 as a team and totaled 82 digs, while Wheaton hit .196 had 91 digs.
• Stout had 12 reception errors and Wheaton had nine.
• Stout had four players record double digit digs.
• Both teams had 62 kills.

• Stout hit .120 as a team and totaled 115 digs, while Illinois Wesleyan hit .188 had 109 digs.
• Stout had five players record double digit digs with three recording 20 or more.
