These stats also earn a top spot on the national scale, Stout is ninth in scoring per game and 20th in assists per game.
  • This high scoring offense is highlighted by four Blue Devils who are scoring double digits on the season, with two more not far behind the 10-point mark. Lovell Williams (19.2 ppg), Armani Tinsley (15.3), Jon Ciriacks (12.0), and Brody Fox (11.0) with Luke Geiger (9.6) and Drew Scott (8.0) not far behind. Scott has been one of the most efficient scorers in the WIAC, making 70 percent of his shots (60 for 85). Fox also cracks the top 5 of the WIAC with 63-percent field goal efficiency (76 for 121).

Williams did record 10 assists against the Blugolds, his third double-digit assist game of the season. Williams is averaging 5.9 assists per game, the best in the WIAC.
  • Armani Tinsley has continued to find the basket this season, breaking double-digits in the past 10 games, recording a career-high 31 points in the win against Eau Claire. Tinsley also has recorded 50 assists on the season, placing him eigth in the WIAC with 2.8 assists per game.

Stout defeated the visiting Greenville Panthers, a team known for their high-scoring games, 125-119. Brody Fox connected on two late game free throws to put this Blue Devil team into the record books. The next time out, the Blue Devils scored 108 points in a win over Finlandia.
  • The Blue Devils experienced their first overtime game of the season in their first meeting against UW-Eau Claire. WHEN RIVER FALLS AND STOUT LAST MET:
  • Stout got the better of the Falcons in their meeting earlier this season
  • UW-Stout started their WIAC season with a home win against UW-River Falls, 81-74, on Wednesday night at Johnson Fieldhouse. The Blue Devils (5-1, 1-0 WIAC) came out of the gates roaring to start off the game, forcing a quick turnover which led to an Armani Tinsley three. River Falls (5-3, 0-1 WIAC) was able to stay on the heels of Stout, but they were never able to take the lead throughout the whole game. The Blue Devil's biggest lead of the night was 15, which came at the end of an 11-point run late in the first half. The 11-point run was fueled by the grit-and-grind basketball that the Blue Devils have showcased this season. During the stretch, a Drew Scott steal resulted in an easy layup for Jon Ciriacks. The next time down the court, Tinsley earned a trip to the line. After sinking the first free throw, Tinsley was able to get his own rebound off his second shot which earned Stout an extra possession. Jon Ciriacks capitalized on the second-chance opportunity with a 3-ball. Ciriacks had 18 points, shooting an outstanding 60-percent from the floor (6 for 10) and 60-percent from deep (3 for 5). He also pulled down eight rebounds. Ciriacks finished with an outstanding 77 true shooting percentage.  |  Game Story and Stats
