2021-22 WIAC/Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
MENOMONIE (January 11, 2022) - UW-Stout senior forward
Raphael Gosselin was selected as the WIAC/Kwik Trip Hockey Athlete of the Week after scoring a goal and providing an assist on the game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime win over Bethel University, Jan. 7.
 Gosselin, a Blue Devil captain, gave UW-Stout a 2-0 lead in the second period when he scored on the power play – his second power play goal of the season - taking an assist from
Caleb Serre and goalie
Tyler Masternak. Gosselin recorded the first assist on
Alec Skar's game-winner 42 seconds into the overtime period.
Gosselin currently has three goals and five assists on the season and is among the top 15 in scoring in the WIAC.Â
