Lauren Couves lost a tight 6-4, 7-6 match to Elaine Franta at No. 1 doubles.
Ellie Becker played No. 2 singles for the first time this season, dropping a 6-0, 6-1, decision.
Mariah Kent lost at No. 3 singles, 6-0 6-0.
Anna Kent was stopped in a No. 4 singles match, 6-3, 6-1.
Kyrstin Hanson dropped a No. 5 singles match 6-0, 6-1 and
Emma Benjamin fell at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Couves and Becker teamed at No. 1 doubles for the first time this year and defeated 8-2. Mariah and
Anna Kent lost at No. 2 doubles, 8-0, and Benjamin and
Macy Hanson lost at No. 3 doubles, 8-0.
The Blue Devils return to action Sunday, Oct. 3 when they travel to Milwaukee to take on Milwaukee School of Engineering and Wisconsin Lutheran College.
