UW-La Crosse 84, UW-Stout 62
MENOMONIE (February 17, 2021) - UW-Stout made a run at UW-La Crosse to open the second half, but it wouldn't be enough as the Eagles went on to an 84-62 win Wednesday at Johnson Fieldhouse.
La Crosse (4-1, 4-1 WIAC) held a 47-28 halftime lead, but Stout (1-4, 1-4 WIAC)Â cut the lead to as close as 12 points by going on a 12-2 run to pull to within 49-37, then came as close as 11 points at 16:05. Stout pulled to within 10 points with 8:34 left. The Eagles would go on to build as much as a 24 point lead.

The Eagles' Wyatt Cook led all scorers with 26 points and Ethan Anderson added 22. Seth Anderson contributed 16 points and La Crosse shot 54.9 percent (28-51) for the game.

TYreese Alexander led Stout with 18 points and
Armani Tinsley scored 10 for Stout. Stout shot 41.3 percent (26-63) for the game.
Stout will travel to La Crosse, Friday, Feb. 19.
