UW-Whitewater 92, UW-Stout 76

WHITEWATER (December 4, 2021) - UW-Stout could never quite find that elusive run to put them on top and the Blue Devils dropped a 92-76 decision at UW-Whitewater Saturday at Kachel Gym.

Stout (5-2, 1-1 WIAC) never led in this contest, but did keep the score between five and eight points for most of the first half. Whitewater (5-2, 0-0 WIAC) went on a 14-3 run to end the first half and carried a 49-33 lead into the locker room.

The Blue Devil cut the lead to eight points on an 11-2 run midway through the second half, with Lovell Williams scoring eight points on the run with two 3-pointers and a pair of free throws.

Both teams had four players score in double figures. The Warhawks' Derek Gray scored a game-high 30 points. Jack Braham added 18 points, Gage Malensek 16 and Breontae Hunt 10.
