UW-Oshkosh 2, UW-Stout 0
OSHKOSH (October 9, 2021) - UW-Oshkosh scored once in each half and gave UW-Stout their first conference loss of the season Saturday at JJ Keller Field.
The Titans got on the board first in the 28th minute with a goal by Molly Jackson, then doubled their point total with a goal in the 63rd minute by Mallory Knight.
Oshkosh (10-2-1, 3-0-0 WIAC) did not allow a shot on goal all afternoon, outshooting the Blue Devils 15-6 overall and 7-0 on net, giving Stout
Haley Vokaty five saves on the day.
Anna Herzog had two shots to lead Stout, while three other Blue Devils (9-4-1, 1-1-0 WIAC) had one shot each. Knight and Jackson each had three shots for the Titans, with Knight putting two shots on frame.
Besides shots, most of the other team statistics were fairly even, with Oshkosh holding a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks, both teams called offside once each and Stout held a slight 10-8 edge in fouls called.Â
The Blue Devils will travel to UW-Eau Claire, Wednesday, Oct. 13 for a 7:30 p.m. meeting, then will host UW-La Crosse, Saturday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m.
